Day Six's winner of Gourmet Raw's brownie collection is Amber Shea Ford. The winner was chosen at random but their answer to 'What is your healthiest habit?' was 'My healthiest habit is drinking about a gallon of water a day. I'm naturally thirsty. :)'. Congratulations Amber Shea!

Oh my. I've really had a tough job for the last couple of weeks reviewing all this chocolate for the Eleven Days of Raw Chocolate Give-Aways, but man I had no idea what was coming my way when I received The Raw Chocolate Co's selection!! This chocolate is insane! Mind blowing! Unreal! Is it even legal for healthy raw chocolate to taste so good??
For Starters 'Vanoffe' is like a bite of creamy, caramel, vanilla, luxury goodness and from what I read, it seems to be everyone else's favourite too. But then there's 'Vanoffe Dark', that is just as good but with that extra chocolate kick. Both the 'Mint' and the 'Orange' burst with flavour, 'Goji Berries and orange' have a nice surprise element of whole dried fruit and the 'Pitch Dark' is a beautiful rich chocolate lovers' dream. I love it that each bar has that 'snap' to the chocolate even at room temperature, which is rare to find in raw choc varieties and the use of xylitol as sweetener is extra special, as it's near impossible to find a sweetener that is actually completely safe for your teeth!
Ok, I am about to make a pretty big call! Are you ready for it? I'm doing it... I, Tanya Alekseeva, think that The Raw Chocolate Co's Chocolate Covered Mulberries is the best raw product currently available on the market! There, I've done it and I stand by what I said! I have never tried anything quite like it. I am already a massive fan of the sweet, chewy and toffee-like mulberries, but come on- covered in chocolate? And not just any chocolate- raw, unprocessed, organic, rich and creamy dark chocolate and then dusted in cacao powder.
Whether you eat this luxury snack at room temperature or cold from the fridge for that extra chewiness and whether you prefer goji berries or raisins instead, it will really take you to another planet! I didn't even like raisins before I tried them this way. Seriously blown away- can you tell? Btw if you have friends or family that aren't quite into this 'raw food deal' and think it all sounds outrageous and crazy, please please please do them (and yourself) a favour by introducing them to The Raw Chocolate Company!
The Raw Chocolate Company also generously provided our readers with a 10% off discount for all of April and May 2012, when you enter BetterRaw2012 at checkout. Postage is also FREE when you spend over £30!! www.therawchocolatecompany.com
RECIPE SUGGESTION: Vanilla Chia Pudding with chocolate chews
1 cup almond milk
2 Tbsp chia seeds (also available from The Raw Choc Co)
1 vanilla bean, seeds only scraped
1-2 Tbsp The Raw Chocolate Co's Chocolate covered mulberries/ raisins/ goji berries
Optional: 1 tsp Bee Polen or raw honey
Stir the chia seeds in with the almond milk and keep stirring rapidly for 1-2 minutes so they don't clump up
Busy yourself with something else for about 10-20 minutes, stirring occasionally as the seeds begin to form a gel, which is so full of amazing fibre
Add the scraping from the vanilla bean and stir well
Sprinkle with bee pollen (or mix in the honey) and chocolate covered fruits
Serve immediately or within 8 hours
