Since we were old enough to say the word, we are told that milk "does a body good" and "makes our bones big and strong". While there is truth to the fact that milk contains a lot of calcium, our bodies are unable to absorb calcium in conjunction with high protein(which milk also contains). Not to mention that the high amounts of calcium in the milk is used to neutralize the acidic reaction our bodies have when milk is consumed.
